In April 2022, Energy Trust of Oregon launched a Multifamily SEM offer across 12 affordable housing properties in Southern Oregon and the Portland metro area. They knew that SEM presented an ideal energy-saving and comfort-enhancing solution for multifamily properties unable to afford the upfront costs of energy equipment upgrades, even with the promise of payback. By employing SEM’s methods of providing ongoing education and motivating active participation, Energy Trust’s Multifamily SEM offer is helping properties find cost-effective energy savings without requiring the purchase of new equipment.
