Get ready to level up your strategic energy management game at the NW SEM Collaborative Fall Workshop: Next Level SEM. Whatever SEM role you play, join us in Portland on October 19 for a full day of in-person networking sessions and breakout discussions of SEM theory and practice. Whether you just started the first level or you’ve been conquering advanced levels for years, the 2023 Fall Workshop is your chance to team with your peers, unlock new strategies and boost our collective SEM scores. Together, we’ll make sure SEM is never a single-player game for Northwest practitioners.

Lodging
McMenamins Kennedy School is a unique facility featuring 57 overnight rooms. All guest rooms are equipped with private baths and telephones. Please note, there are no televisions in the guest rooms and all rooms are non-smoking.
A limited block of on-site hotel rooms will be held for conference attendees for October 18-19. The block will be held until September 17. There are two ways to book a hotel room:
- Call the hotel front desk at (503) 249-3983 and refer to the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance Block.
- If you do not specify you are with this group guest room block, you may be told no rooms are available.
- Book a room online via this LINK.
- Select the date, and then choose Special Rate: Group/Block and enter the following code: 2310NORTHW
Depending on room type and night, hotel rates can fluctuate anywhere from $180.00 to $305.00 per night. Rates do not include the Oregon Lodging tax which is currently 16.0%, or prevailing rate. Lodging prices are subject to change without notice. Check-in time may not be guaranteed until after 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Event-block rooms are not guaranteed past September 17. Notice of cancellation on individual guest rooms or shortened stays must be received at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid forfeiture of one night’s room rental per cancelled room.
Parking
Limited onsite parking is available for all Kennedy School guests at no charge. All parking is first come first served and may be used by both overnight guests and day visitors alike in the main parking lot.
Mcmenamin's Kennedy School Hotel Guests:
A portion of the parking lot is dedicated to overnight guests only. A parking pass is required and will be issued at check-in. The pass will need to be visible on the dashboard. These spaces are limited and will be available on a first come first served basis.
Street Parking:
Street parking is free and available on NE 33rd, NE Simpson, NE Jarrett, and NE Jessup without time limitations.
Bike Parking:
Bike parking is available at corrals in front of and behind the building. A BIKETOWN rental bike parking corral is located in front of the building.
Public Transportation
McMenamins Kennedy School is accessible by Portland’s public transportation system (TriMet) bus lines #70 and #72 with transfers required from downtown or the Portland Airport Airport. Plan and track your trip on TriMet.
